May 23rd – Class of 2017 Parent/Student Meeting

class-of-2017For graduated seniors of the class of 2017 and guests only. Let us ensure your smooth transition to your post-secondary career! 6:00pm at the University Center at UNO.

Come for dinner and to discuss your plans for the summer, touch base with your Program Advisors and Associate Director of Senior Services.

Receive a “care package” for your new life after high school, and receive your official UNO Upward Bound Alumni Cap!

Last Class for the Fall Semester

This Saturday is the last Saturday for the Fall. We KNOW you have exams and last minute projects, so bring your work!  Dr. Phil has a great science lab planned- help with French, Language Arts, Math, History etc. will be available.

We start back after the holidays on January 7-

If you are NEW to the program or have NOT yet signed up for the REMIND APP- do it this Saturday! You can never have too many reminders about what you need to do- trust me!

Saturday. October 15th, Ms. Aloma Lykes,M.C.D., CCC/SLP

Ms. Lykes an Associate Professor of Clinical Communication Disorders will meet with all students to explore and explain the many options in the field of health services. There are thousands of good jobs awaiting you without becoming an M.D – and you be able to  ask about out how the process works and what the requirements are for success in a chosen health care profession.
